The Zhu Zhu pets are a smart motorized pet that is programmed to play in or outside of its special habitat playhouse. As with any other pet, the Zhu Zhu loves to be nurtured and enjoys talking, exploring the surroundings or taking a nap when it’s tired. You can control its actions by pushing a button on its head or back.

- Loving Personality
The loving personality allows children to interact with the Zhu Zhu pet as they would with a real one. It allows children to love, pet and snuggle with the hamster. The Zhu Zhu communicates its affection back to children by making squeaking noises, as they were talking. For example when you want to cuddle with or "reward" your hamster, pet it on the head (right behind the ears). Your hamster will chirp and purr contentedly. These little fur balls love it when you pet them and they'll keep "talking" until they get bored and go to sleep. - Exploring Personality
The exploring personality allows the hamster to be independently playful and active. In this personality, the Zhu Zhu pet scoots, runs & scurries across the floor or within its play area. To let your hamster know it's okay to run around and explore its environment, press it on its back and watch them go! Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters love to run around and play. If you want to calm them down, you can pat it on the head button to cuddle (and it will stop running) or you can press it on its back and you will hear your Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster yawn and then go to sleep.
